Shipping your breastmilk should be easy and stress-free.

 

Pfizer and Save The Milk are taking the guesswork out of it by sending you all the supplies you need while you travel for work.

 

Our kits can be used whether you decide to ship your milk home or bring it with you on the plane. Just follow the steps:

1. Purchase the shipping kit from us below.  If you’re ordering close to your traveling dates, you may consider shipping this kit directly to your hotel.

2. We ship all of the supplies you need to the address you provide (home or hotel).

3. If you choose to ship the milk home, you can also order a discounted shipping label from our site below.

4. Once you receive the kit, freeze the ice packs overnight and keep them frozen until ready for use.

5. Fill the cooler with your breastmilk, and insulate it with the frozen ice sheets.

6. Ship your milk home, or bring it with you on the plane.

If you are choosing to ship the kit, the shipping label is NOT included.

Standard Shipping Kit includes:

  • Styrofoam cooler sheets that fit inside the shipping box- are 1.5” thick
  • Inside dimensions are 16x10x10″ (1600 Cubic Inches), 2″ thick foam
  • Outside shipping box dimensions are 20x14x14″
  • 4 large ice sheets
  • Milk should stay frozen (or slushy) and should stay/ship safe for 48 hours. In the hot summer months, it’s recommended to ship overnight
  • Do not exceed 30 lbs
  • Re-Usable coolers and Ice sheets (don’t throw them away, reuse them!) Sustainable & recyclable ♻️ products

FAQ’s

Does my milk need to be frozen to use these kits?

No, your milk does not need to be frozen. You can use our kits to ship fresh milk. Please be sure to use our ice sheets and ship overnight to ensure the milk will stay at an appropriate temperature upon arrival to its destination.

Do I have to ship? Can I just use them to transport my milk the way I want?

No, you don’t have to ship your milk. You can use these kits to transport your milk in your car, plane, or train! 

Do I have to ship breast milk overnight?

Shipments averaging 300oz or less should be shipped overnight to prevent the risk of thawing during shipment.

Can I ship milk on a Friday?

You can ship on a Friday but we advise against it. Should you still need to, please email [email protected] to create a Saturday delivery label for you.

How do I pack breast milk into the cooler for shipment?

Easy to understand instructions will come with the STM Cooler Kits for preparing and packaging the breast milk for shipment.

What is the shipping timeframe for the STM cooler kits to be delivered?

We do our best to ship the kits within a 24hour period. Based on your location your kit may take 3 –4 days to arrive and may be longer if you order on a weekend.

What is your return and refund policy on the STM cooler kits?

STM Cooler kits are non-returnable and non-refundable.

How many ounces of breastmilk can be shipped in a STM Cooler Kit?

Breast Milk Bags vary in size based on brand and how they are frozen. Here are two example estimates of what you may experience.

Lansinoh size bags frozen flat up to 5 oz: Approx. 300 oz

Mother K size bags frozen flat 5-10oz: Approx. 200- 250oz

In our Standard Shipping Kit:

200-400oz of breastmilk, not to exceed 30lbs

*If you need to ship more than 300 oz of milk, you do not need to use the ice sheets. You can fill the cooler up to 400oz without using the ice sheets but do not exceed 30 lbs or you will be charged additional overage fees. It is recommended if you are not going to use the ice sheets, you request one-day delivery to ensure your milk will remain frozen upon delivery. Shipping in two days without ice sheets may thaw your milk more quickly.

In our Mini Shipping Kit:

70-150 oz of breastmilk, not to exceed 12lbs

*If you need to ship more than 100 oz of milk, you do not need to use the ice sheets. You can fill the cooler up to 150oz without using the ice sheets but do not exceed 12 lbs or you will be charged additional overage fees. It is recommended if you are not going to use the ice sheets, you request one-day delivery to ensure your milk will remain frozen upon delivery. Shipping in two days without ice sheets may thaw your milk more quickly.
