How Do You Pack Breastmilk for Shipping?
Save The Milk offers four shipping kit sizes, with three different cooling veriations. Each including the supplies needed to travel with or ship your breastmilk safely.
Packing is simple. Place fresh or frozen milk bags inside the insulated liner and arrange them to maximize space (it can feel a little like Tetris). Add the included instant ice packs or ice sheets around the milk to maintain temperature.
Once packed, close the liner, seal the box, and ship using overnight or 2-day delivery depending on how quickly the milk needs to arrive.
Does the Breastmilk Need to Be Frozen, or Can I Ship Fresh Milk?
Breastmilk can be shipped either fresh or frozen. Save The Milk shipping kits are designed to safely transport both.
Frozen milk naturally helps maintain colder temperatures inside the shipping box, but fresh milk can also be shipped successfully when packed properly with our included cooling materials.
What if I don’t have access to a freezer or fridge?

Do I have to ship my breastmilk?
No. Shipping is optional.
